I have practiced Customs law exclusively since 1986.
As a Customs law attorney, I represent importers in proceedings at various offices within U.S. Customs (including port entry teams, port import specialists, Fines, Penalties and Forfeitures office, Regulatory Audit, Headquarters Office of Regulations & Rulings, and the National Import Specialists Division in New York), and in court at the U.S. Court of International Trade and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
I have prepared and filed over 750 formal Customs protests and represented importers in dozens of court cases. At my disposal is a library of over 5,000 briefs, protests, ruling requests,petitions, opinion letters and memos that I have written on behalf of clients on numerous Customs law issues.
